Lorraine Nisbet is a Southern California native who was born and raised in San Diego. She is a mother of four children, including one with special needs, an experience that has strengthened her compassion, resilience, and dedication to the families she serves.
Lorraine has been practicing law for over 15 years and has successfully handled hundreds of cases across a broad range of matters. She is an experienced litigator who has made numerous court appearances, including evidentiary hearings, bench trials, and a civil jury trial. She has taken and defended depositions of both percipient and expert witnesses, participated in countless mediations and settlement conferences, and effectively guided cases to resolution through negotiated settlement or trial to final judgment when appropriate.
Lorraine is deeply committed to advocating for her clients’ rights and takes pride in providing thoughtful, strategic representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Most recently, in June 2024, Ms. Nisbet co-chaired a successful civil jury trial resulting in a $218,000 verdict for her client after an 8-day trial.

Hobbies
Lorraine’s hobbies include acrylic painting, watching her children play baseball and football, concerts and MLB baseball games. Lorraine has run 4 half-marathons (San Diego Half, San Diego Rock and Roll Half (twice), Raleigh NC Rock and Roll Half) and scores of 5ks. Lorraine has also won a chili cook off during her husband’s tenure at MCAS Miramar.
